Full job description

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Manage OS and software installations (Windows/Mac/Linux as applicable).
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at the user level (remotely and on-site).
  • Provide support for email setup, VPN connectivity, and basic network issues.
  • Perform basic to intermediate network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP, DNS).
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, asset tagging, and inventory management.
  • Maintain regular backups of critical user data; coordinate with server and backup teams for escalations.
  • Support antivirus deployment, updates, and security patch management.
  • Document IT support tickets, resolutions, and recurring issues in a helpdesk system.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Implement and maintain firewall security policies (WAF, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust Security Frameworks).
  • Optimize network performance using advanced routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP).
  • Perform user account management using Active Directory and other identity tools.
  • Provide support for video conferencing tools and remote collaboration systems (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, etc.).
  • Assist in IT onboarding and offboarding procedures (equipment setup, access provisioning/revocation).
  • Monitor system performance and generate periodic reports on system health and usage.
  • Ensure endpoint encryption and device security compliance (BitLocker).
  • Configure and manage endpoint management tools
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements, warranty claims, and license renewals.
  • Train users on IT policies, cybersecurity awareness, and basic tech troubleshooting.
  • Assist in disaster recovery testing and planning at the desktop/user environment level.
  • Maintain software license compliance and track renewals or upgrades.
  • Implement and monitor endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to IT infrastructure and security.
