Key Responsibilities
- Act as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success.
- Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values.
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible.
- Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.
- Required Skills And Experience
- Strong communication and commercial awareness.
- Previous leadership or Sales experience in Merchant desirable.
- A passion for customer service.
- An ability to build, develop and maintain relationships.
- Industry experience would be advantageous.
