About Company

Costa Coffee began in 1971, founded by Sergio and Bruno Costa, bringing Italian-style coffee to London. In 1991, Coffee Nation was launched, inspired by New York's takeout culture, and later acquired by Costa Coffee in 2011, becoming Costa Express. It grew rapidly, redefining convenience coffee with over 14,200 machines in the UK and 1,600+ globally.

Following Costa Coffee's acquisition by The Coca-Cola Company in 2018, the brand expanded internationally and launched innovations like the AltoX1 Ice machine in 2022. Today, Costa Coffee operates in 50 countries with over 4,000 stores and supports 30,000+ business sites.

In 2024, Costa Express evolved into Costa Coffee Professional, focusing on tailored coffee solutions for businesses. With over 50 years of hospitality experience and Coca-Cola’s global reach, Costa Coffee Professional continues to lead in innovation, quality, and convenience in the away-from-home coffee market.
