Newly hired on-field agents will be responsible for driving acquisitions with dedication and consistency, primarily based on a curated lead list shared by the central or city teams. These leads will include potential restaurant or outlet partners identified for onboarding onto the company’s platform. The agent is expected to conduct timely follow-ups, maintain a high level of professionalism, and convert these leads into active partners.

The role involves end-to-end onboarding of outlets as per the lead list, ensuring all required documentation, platform setup, and initial guidance are completed effectively. This includes collecting KYC documents, assisting with FSSAI/license uploads, and ensuring business details are correctly registered. The agent must clearly communicate the value proposition and onboarding steps to ensure clarity and smooth registration.

Once onboarding is complete, the agent must ensure a seamless transition of the outlet to the respective Account Management or Vendor Success team. This includes properly documenting the handover, sharing key outlet insights, and making sure the partner is prepared for live operations.

Escalations that arise during the onboarding process—such as technical issues, legal constraints, or partner resistance—must be promptly escalated to the relevant City or Central team for resolution. The agent should maintain clear communication, document all interactions, and follow up to ensure quick closure.

Additionally, the agent will be responsible for onboarding EANO (Existing Account New Outlet) and NRO (New Restaurant Onboarding) accounts assigned by the City, Central, or VAM (Vendor Acquisition Management) teams. This requires close collaboration across internal functions and may also include physical visits for verification or support.

A critical part of the onboarding process is ensuring each restaurant subscribes to the correct starter pack—which typically includes marketing materials like stickers, hygiene signage, QR codes, and posters. The agent must verify that the outlet is visibly branded and meets hygiene and visibility standards as per company policy.

Further responsibilities include conducting basic training for partners on how to use the partner app, accept orders, manage timings and menus, and deal with delivery logistics. The agent should also provide post-onboarding support for a limited time to ensure the outlet is fully functional and confident.

Moreover, on-field agents are expected to act as brand ambassadors, representing the company positively in their assigned regions. They are required to submit daily field reports, maintain an organized pipeline of leads and onboarded outlets, and share insights or feedback that could improve processes.

This role demands strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, adaptability to field conditions, and a commitment to achieving onboarding targets while maintaining operational excellence.
