Job Description

Own the front line of growth and set the bar for UX at Adaptavist. As our Consulting Lead for UX, you’ll turn prospective client conversations into high-impact engagements, uncovering real business challenges, shaping compelling UX solutions, and leading the charge from discovery through to persuasive proposals, scoped projects, and signed deals. You’ll be the senior UX voice in the room, translating insight into strategy and strategy into value.

As the Consulting Lead for UX, you will be a primary driver of business growth, focusing on pre-sales and the development of new client opportunities. This strategic role is centred on identifying and nurturing prospective client relationships, understanding their core business challenges, and shaping compelling UX solutions that deliver tangible value. You will be at the forefront of our client acquisition efforts, leading the creation of proposals, defining project scopes, and acting as the senior UX authority during the sales process.

The role will include mentoring of consultants who will be working across a wide variety of client engagements. As part of the role, some of your time will be billable to client work. The role will ensure our solutions are closely-tailored to client needs, whilst also reviewing the quality of deliverables and acting as a point of escalation on some engagements.

This could also include direct line management and as such the role will be expected to support the personal growth and career development of any direct reports within their role and future roles at Adaptavist.
