Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SEO principles, with hands-on experience in keyword research, technical SEO, and backlink acquisition. This role requires a proactive individual who stays updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Key Responsibilities
Keyword Research & Strategy:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities and gaps.
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve search rankings.
Technical SEO:
Perform regular website audits to identify and rectify technical issues.
Optimize website structure, URL architecture, and site maps for better crawlability.
Ensure mobile responsiveness and improve page load speeds.
On-Page Optimization:
Optimize meta tags, headers, and content for target keywords.
Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.
Off-Page SEO & Link Building:
Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
Monitor backlink profiles and disavow harmful links when necessary.
Analytics & Reporting:
Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor performance.
Prepare regular reports on SEO metrics and provide actionable insights.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the content, design, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Stay informed about industry trends and algorithm updates to adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing is a plus.
2–3 years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and link-building.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
SEO certifications from recognized institutions or platforms.
Knowledge of other digital marketing channels, such as PPC and social media.
