Sales Support Specialist

As our Sales Support Specialist, you’ll own the early stages of our sales cycle—building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities for our software-services offerings. You’ll be a true “hunter,” driving outreach via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to secure qualified meetings for our Account Executives. Over time, you’ll mentor and help build a small, high-performing lead-gen team around you.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & Outreach

Execute high-velocity cold-calling , emailing, and LinkedIn outreach campaigns to targeted prospects

Research and identify decision-makers at mid-to-large enterprises in our verticals (Healthcare, Industrial IoT, Manufacturing, Semiconductor)

Qualification & Appointment Setting

Conduct discovery calls to validate prospect needs and qualify against our solution fit

Secure and schedule qualified meetings, handing off warm opportunities to Account Executives

CRM & Campaign Management

Maintain accurate data in our CRM and prospecting tools (Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo)

Build and optimize outbound cadences using email-automation platforms

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Track and report daily/weekly metrics (calls, meetings booked, pipeline value)

Analyze outreach performance and iterate messaging to maximize conversion rates

Team Building & Mentorship

After demonstrating individual success, support hiring, onboarding, and coaching (optional) of 1–3 junior sales support reps

Share best practices across the team and contribute to process documentation

Required Qualifications

3–8 years of hands-on experience in sales support or inside-sales roles, with a track record of building new business pipelines

Demonstrated success selling software-services or professional services (e.g., custom development, IoT, QA/testing, AI/ML platforms)

Expert in multichannel outreach: cold calls, emails, LinkedIn InMails, and social-selling techniques

Proficient with CRM and sales-enablement tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to craft concise, tailored outreach messaging

Experience any one or two of the vertical markets Healthcare, Manufacturing, Industrial , Semiconductor

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Self-starter mentality with a true “hunter” mindset—comfortable with rejection and driven by targets

Ability to quickly learn technical solution features and articulate business value to prospects

Experience mentoring or leading small teams is a plus

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven in approach to outreach and reporting
