Job description
Responsibilities: 1. Architectural Design: Design, develop, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices. 2. Cloud Migration : Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle databases and applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime . 3. Infrastructure Automation: Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning, configuring, and managing Oracle Cloud resources using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. 4. Performance Optimization: Optimize Oracle Cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging features such as Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service . 5. Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures in Oracle Cloud environments, including access control, encryption, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. 6. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the health and performance of Oracle Cloud services and applications, proactively identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. 7. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, diagrams, and guidelines for Oracle Cloud architecture and best practices. Provide training and support to other team members as needed. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud solutions. * In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle Database 12c/18c/19c, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Data Guard. * Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, such as Compute, Storage, Networking, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). * Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell. * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications: * Oracle Cloud DBA certifications Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises systems. * Familiarity with other cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
