Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of in-house and remote data, voice, and wireless network services. You will play a key role in installing, supporting, and optimizing network hardware, software, and communication links.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, and intranet systems
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Maintain network security through firewalls, VPNs, and other protective measures
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups
• Manage IP address assignments and DNS configurations
• Support and maintain switches, routers, access points, and firewalls
• Ensure network connectivity across all infrastructure components
• Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to support business operations
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards
• Evaluate and recommend new network equipment and software

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Ubiquiti, etc.)
• Familiarity with firewalls, security appliances, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Proficient in network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
• Experience in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with VoIP systems and wireless networking best practices
