We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our QA team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles and a proven track record of identifying bugs and ensuring software quality across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing.
- Log, manage, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide timely feedback.
- Identify test data requirements and prepare necessary data for testing activities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proficient in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
