About the Role

Manager - Central

EB FFAAS Business Development and Sales Manager role is to develop the business line of Ekart on this new service line, expand market presence and drive growth in the freight forwarding industry. 

This role includes identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and executing sales strategies to meet revenue goals. Essential qualifications include a strong understanding of freight forwarding, negotiation skills, and a commitment to customer service.

You are Responsible for

Key responsibilities:

New Business Development:

Identify and pursue new leads in the freight forwarding sector for air &  ocean

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Analyze the market and competitors to find growth areas.

Client Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and offer tailored solutions.

Manage key accounts and ensure excellent service.

Create and deliver presentations and proposals that meet client needs.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.

Negotiate contracts and pricing.

Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Stay current on industry trends and regulations.

Internal Collaboration and Coordination:

Work with internal teams & Partners to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Provide input on pricing and operational improvements.

To succeed in this role – you should have the following

Proven ability to meet sales targets.

Detailed knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including various transport modes and customs regulations.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong customer focus.

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
