  • Lead and manage the QIS Platform Team, ensuring effective collaboration across all relevant functions.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Secondary Implementations of Quantitative Investment Strategies and Indices to ensure independence and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Structuring, Trading, Quants, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate development and implementation of new Dynamic Strategies.
  • Manage Index Platform Governance topics such as restatement policy, standardization of index/strategy rulebooks and methodologies, managing conflicts of interest and escalation processes and driving other strategic improvements around Platform Governance.
  • Maintain relationships with Third Party Index Administrators including regular reviews of their performance and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing contractual complexities of Index and Data licenses applicable to the QIS business.
  • Oversee the handling of market disruption events and ensure proper escalation.
  • Drive the development of our client front-end infrastruction including external web landing-pages, GUIs and client reporting.
  • Responsible for a strategic third-party partnership index family, managing product development, marketing efforts and financials.

Your team

You’ll be based in London, in the QIS Platform Team operating within the IB Global Markets. The team is collectively responsible for a broad portfolio of activities centered around acting as a strategic enabler to the business, overseeing the integrity of our QIS indices and strategies, resolving real-time calculation issues, and improving the robustness of our QIS Platform .

Your expertise

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in quantitative finance and dynamic strategy development.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, quick thinker, highly adaptable, and able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to understand processes and issues quickly and determine priorities and solutions based on business needs and benefits.
  • Strong focus, drive, and commitment to ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner to a high standard.
  • Experience with coding and programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java.
  • Familiarity with financial benchmarks and market data vendors.
  • At least 5 years background or experience in a similar or related role, with strong knowledge across different asset-class indices
  • Knowledge of regulatory landscape, control framework, and governance applicable to Global Markets.
  • Experienced in delivering against milestones on a timely basis and to a high standard under limited supervision.
