Front Office Application Support Analyst - High-Growth Hedge Fund | Up to £120k base

A high-growth hedge fund with over 20 years market experience are looking for a technical gifted Front Office Application Support Analyst to join their London team. This role will focus on supporting in-house built applications (Python and C#) within their front office environment, providing direct exposure to traders and the trade lifecycle. You’ll also have opportunities to drive automation initiatives (mainly with Python), enhance monitoring frameworks, and have the opportunity to progress toward an SRE-oriented career path.

Responsibilities:

Provide app support to in-house built applications, with a focus on front office systems (particularly fixed income)

Strong exposure to traders, expected to develop a deep functional knowledge of the trade flow and products

Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline processes and improve observability.

Build and maintain monitoring dashboards in Grafana, implementing metrics-based alerts.

Contribute to release cycles, testing processes, and business continuity planning.

Exposure to upcoming multi-strategy expansion, offering diverse project opportunities.

Progress opportunity into a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)-oriented role, with a focus on automation, performance tuning, and monitoring architecture.

Key Requirements:

3–7 years’ front office application support experience

Proven OMS exposure, strong product knowledge, and experience handling trader queries.

Scripting experience (Python preferred).

SQL proficiency.

Monitoring tooling experience (Grafana preferred).

Bonus: Fixed Income knowledge, C#, FIS Front Arena, PnL, Risk, small/medium firm experience.
