In this role, you’ll be responsible for proactively identifying and tracking cyber threats and campaigns targeting the organisation. Going beyond conventional security measures, you'll seek out indicators of compromise that traditional tools may miss. Working closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business, you’ll support the identification, monitoring, assessment, and mitigation of threats in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

Your role will involve

Responsibility to support the successful delivery of the cyber security strategy and business objectives, meeting regulatory, security and quality standards and expectations.

Supporting the ongoing development and testing of an effective Cyber Asset Register (CAR) and deliver the crucial programme for identity and access management by facilitating and completing regular User Access Reviews (UAR).

Managing the completion of the privileged User Access Reviews, for the In-Scope regulated systems and potentially other systems identified by Heathrow.

Supporting the team with regulatory and compliance activities such as but not limited to Aviation regulations, UK legislation and compliance such as PCI-DSS.

Supporting development and contributing to fit-for-purpose security policies and maintain baseline standards and patterns, frameworks and roadmaps with the team that deliver the strategic goals, business priorities and comply with technical and industry/regulatory standards.

These skills are essential

Proficiency or familiarity with data science, business intelligence, and data analytics, aware of data integration and modelling, along with presentation tactics and concepts

Demonstrates experience of building, maintaining, and influencing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders

Good facilitation and negotiation skills – ability to influence teams, stakeholders and individuals and motivate them

Innovative thinking, self-starter and drive to be successful and complete is a key requirement for this position; needs to probe and follow through

Ability to extract and summarise information such as learnings from exercises and incidents for Senior Stakeholders and other colleagues

Ability to attain Security Clearance at CTC or higher (e.g., SC, DV)
